Tobacco Vanille. I am on my second bottle. I bought this in summer 2020 and the performance is astounding. Even after 12 hours people are commenting on the fragrance at work. It's a rich spicy (cinammon/clove) tobacco fragrance. I didn't really notice the cacao note when I first bought it, but I have grown to appreciate just how much it enhances the fragrance. As the name suggests there is vanilla, but so much more. Strong, smooth, spicy and women love it.
I love Black Phantom. It has been my 'signature' fragrance since it was released. What I love most is the rich dark coffee with what Kilian calls the 'cyanide accord', a bitterness that I joking say suits my personality perfectly. The 'memento mori' in Black Phantom's name is something I live by. Live life to the full, embrace possibilities and enjoy yourself while you can. It's the bitterness that prevents the caramel and sugar in Black Phantom from becoming too sweet. Add some dark chocolate and rum and we have quite a rich, dark temptation. I like the fact it avoids being 'obvious' - no citrus top notes and no oud in the base. The sandalwood is a beautiful base note in this fragrance. I did find a fragrance recently that could challenge Black Phantom for my signature - another Kilian, Angel's Share.
